Description
Crackcase breather hose on KTM 950 / 990 normally goes into the airbox where it can drip engine oil / vapor right over the front carburetor/throttle body which is not ideal.
When the air intake system is upgraded to TripleClamp Moto's airfilter system which replaces the air box, a breather filter like this is required to cap the crankshaft breather hose.
